About Us
Oceanside Cycle Supply is North County’s
independent family owned motorcycle shop. See us for one
stop shopping for motorcycles, parts, accessories, service and
insurance. We enjoy a nice family atmosphere here and you are
welcome to join us.
The original store
opened for business in 1976 and was located on North Coast
Highway and was shall we say, a bit tight with only 800 sq. ft.
in the entire store.
Jim and Peggy Martin purchased the business in
September 1977. After 10 years of growth we relocated the
store to it’s present location at 1617 South Coast Highway,
adding a full service department, used bike sales and expanded
the parts and accessories departments.
At Oceanside Cycle Supply, It is our desire to
greet each customer with smiling faces and a cheerful
hello. At the same time, provide the best products and service
at reasonable prices. The service department prides itself in
making sure each job is done right the first time.
In our
parts department, you will find the
basics, tires, oils, filters, spark plugs, chemicals, plus
on-road and off-road apparel including helmets, jackets, boots,
gloves, and gear. We offer only top brand merchandize from
vendors such as, HJC, DUNLOP, FOX, SCOTT GOGGLES, NGK,
ALPINESTAR, FLY RACING, METZLER, BEL RAY, TOUR MASTER, WILLIEMAX
just to mention a few.
In our
Service Department from the new to the old, two wheels, four
wheels and yes, three wheelers, our service technicians do it all,
from minor work and diagnostics to major overhauls and
electrical problems. Tire installation and oil changes are done
in short order without an appointment. We do recommend calling
ahead to schedule tune-ups, exhaust and power commander
installations.
Scott
Carey is our parts manager and is very dedicated and
knowledgeable. Scott started in the motorcycle industry in 1982
and has been in it ever since. He worked at two other
motorcycle shops from 1989 to 2004 when he came to Oceanside
Cycle Supply.
Scott started riding bikes in 1980. His first bike
was a Honda XR75. He has owned over 35 different motorcycles
since then and a couple of street bikes, but mostly dirt and one
ATV. "I really like the Mom and Pop atmosphere here at
OCS, I love helping customers with cool old bikes as well as the
new stuff. If you need help with an obscure or obsolete bike....
give me a shot!."
Mike Heartland is our lead Technician. Mike has
been with us for over 5 years and is ready and able to rebuild
an engine, or change a light bulb. We know Mike will do the
job RIGHT the FIRST TIME. An avid off-roader, and Desert
Rat, he commutes daily on his beloved XT600 Yamaha. A truly good
guy.
Nick Kok

only been with us a couple of years but Nick is also an avid

your bike being serviced just the way you wanted it and in a

motorcycles and is a great at diagnosing and troubleshooting.
